Have you ever had sopapilla cheesecake? This dessert is a simpler version of a Latin American flatbread. Instead of a fried pie, make crescent roll dough by layering it on top and bottom of the cake. The center filling is stuffed with traditional cheesecake ingredients, then the top sheet of dough is slathered with butter, cinnamon, and sugar. Once the dessert is sufficiently cooled at room temperature, it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or even longer if frozen.
