When choosing nail colors for February, many people think of shades of pink and red, like Valentine’s Day. These colors are always in fashion for the month of love, but we’re here (with the help of two manicurists!) to remind you that there are plenty of other colors to polish your fingers. think.
Whether you choose a shade of royal purple or a moody mauve, you’ll find more than 10 February nail colors you’ll want to wear all year long.

Shimmer and shine are never out of the question in winter. “Whether you apply it over pretty nails or your favorite color, you can’t go wrong with a sheer shine,” says Hannah. I absolutely love the look of Gelcare UV Gel Nail Polish in the shade Studio 54.
“Pink represents softness and femininity while capturing the essence of love,” says Hay, noting that blush pink is “the ideal choice to celebrate the month of love.” I recommend Essie’s shade “Muchi, Muchi”.
Don’t you have a single color set? Thin, super thin. “Taking a break from nail color over the winter and focusing on optimizing your nail health is a great way to prepare for your summer glow,” says Hannah. “If your nails are damaged and you want them to look healthy without polishing, try a sheer pink nail glow like Manucurist Active Glow.”
“A rich, luxurious dark red that can be worn as a solid or incorporated into a negative space design,” says Hay, is a great choice for February manicures. “The dark red hue gives your nails a dramatic divine touch.”
Hannah agrees. “Violet from Hermès. She loves Byzantine,” she says.
According to Hannah, the go-to nail color for Valentine’s Day is a creamy nude color. “My absolute favorite creamy nude is Boss by Dazzle Dry,” she reveals. “It’s full coverage, so it’s perfect if you want to hide imperfections or smooth out any discoloration left by dark fall nails.”
Metallics will continue to be popular in 2024, making gold a great choice for your February nail look. “Money [reads] It’s stylish, glamorous, and an eye-catcher for any nail look,” says Hay. “Bold colors like gold stand alone and make you feel like a star.” To make your gold nail polish last longer, get his CND Shellac in the shade Let’s. Adding colors like silver and accent pieces to dark purple creates a striking contrast.” Another option? Choose a shimmering purple polish like Holo Taco’s Anti-Hero to achieve bold color and stunning contrast with just one swipe.

For a moody February manicure, Hannah suggests a deep plum nail color. “Deep plum nails look chic in the middle of winter, but look for colors that are more purple than black,” says Hannah. A popular pick is Essie’s Underground Ball.
Remember how metal is in there? That also means silver. “Aim for a sleek, modern look with a metallic silver nail polish,” says Hay. For a particularly rich silver mani, choose Silver Velvet by Gelcare Official.
A surprising but perfect nail color for February is denim blue. “Shades of blue create a cool, calming palette that captures the essence of the winter sky,” says Hay.
