FORT WORTH, Texas — Summer may be coming to an end, but it’s time to start planning next summer vacation early. American Airlines is excited to announce four new routes and bring back another as part of its largest transatlantic expansion since 2019.
American Airlines is adding a new non-stop flight to Europe from Philadelphia (PHL) to Copenhagen, Denmark (CPH). Naples, Italy (NAP); and Nice, France (NCE). American will also launch new service between Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Barcelona, Spain (BCN), and revive flights between Chicago (ORD) and Venice, Italy (VCE).
“American is excited to add three new destinations to Europe,” said Brian Znotins, senior vice president of network and schedule planning for American Airlines. “Our new service from Philadelphia and our expanded transatlantic service from Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth will give our customers convenient one-stop access from more than 200 unique destinations in the U.S. to Europe next summer. will be done.”

American Airlines will launch new service between DFW and BCN for the first time next summer, offering unmatched scheduling options.
