One of the most popular, healthy and easy to make breakfast options is chia seeds. They are a good source of important nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, fiber, protein, healthy fats, and vitamins. These small seeds are perfect for people who don’t like cooking but want to maintain a healthy weight and digestive system. There are many ways to enjoy chia seeds, from sprinkling them on smoothies to soaking them overnight to make delicious puddings. When we have a sweet craving, we often turn to chocolate or cake, which are not only unhealthy but also increase our sugar and calorie intake. Here are some healthy and delicious chia seed recipes for a guilt-free dessert experience.
1. Chia seed pudding

material:
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 cup coconut milk
2 tablespoons yogurt
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 cup fresh grated coconut
fresh pomegranate pearls, if desired
dark chocolate shavings for garnish
Method:
1. Combine chia seeds, coconut milk, and yogurt in a bowl. Add vanilla extract and maple syrup and mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and leave for 2-3 hours.
2. Dry roast the coconut in a non-stick frying pan until golden brown. Transfer to a bowl and let cool.
3. Pour chia seed mixture into individual serving glasses. Place some pomegranate pearls, roasted coconut, chia seed mixture, chocolate shavings and pomegranate pearls on top. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
4. Serve chilled.
2. Pineapple Chia Smoothie

1 serving
2 canned pineapple slices
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 medium bananas
5-6 fresh spinach leaves
8-10 almonds
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup yogurt
1/4 cup soft coconut water
1 tablespoon honey
Method:
1. Peel the banana, roughly chop it and add it to the mixer jar. Add spinach leaves, pineapple slices, almonds, milk, yogurt, softened coconut water, honey, and chia seeds and mix into a smooth mixture.
2. Serve immediately.
3. Chocolate Chia Seed Oatmeal

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
Method:
For chocolate oats
1. To make chocolate oats, first prepare a cocoa mixture by mixing unsweetened cocoa powder with 1/4 cup of water in a mug.
2. In a wide bowl, combine rolled oats, unsweetened almond milk, pumpkin seeds, and chia seeds.
3. Next add the cocoa mixture.
4. Mix well. Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight.
5. Serve unsweetened Indian chocolate oatmeal chilled.
