HUBER HEIGHTS — A local city is still searching for a solution after spending more than $250,000 investigating a ransomware attack.
Blondezena Williams lives in Huber Heights and shared her concerns.
“You’ll have to get it from somewhere, right?” she said.
The attack occurred on November 12th.
Williams is talking about the $350,000 Huber Heights paid to fix problems caused by the ransomware attack.
There are no plans for reductions at this time.

“I hope they don’t cut anything because we’re still growing and it’s not a good idea to be stagnant right now,” Williams said.
Many people are worried that their personal information will be leaked.
“Someone at the Y (MCA) asked me if I had messaged them and asked for money, and I said, ‘No, I haven’t,'” Priscilla Kleindinst said. Ta.
She is now constantly on guard.
She is also concerned about future attack plans.
“I don’t want to see the police department cut because I think it’s necessary,” Kleindinst said.
The Huber Heights City Council continues to work to get answers about whether personal information was stolen.
