What do the locals say?
For City Councilman Paul Kast, it was no surprise that Panama City Beach was recognized by Light Boat as one of the best beaches in the country.
Although Kast has traveled to many beaches both here and abroad, he said PCB is still his favorite.
“I’m not surprised, (although) I still think we’re number one in the country,” he said. “We live here and are happy to have this in our backyard every day.”
