Her love story took an unexpected turn.
Unfortunately, many people know what it feels like to be ghosted on a date. One moment everything was fine and the next moment, wow! Your love interest disappears without a trace.
One woman shares her wild ghosting experience in the following episode. KBS Joy‘s survival story. It all started when she and her boyfriend met at a blind date event.
About a week into their relationship, things started to get a little weird.
About a week after we started dating, my boyfriend suddenly shook off my hand from his and walked away from me to answer the phone.

When the woman confronted him about this, he explained that it was an emergency.
The secret phone calls didn’t end there. His strange behavior became more and more strange.
After that incident he continued to make secret phone calls and took me outside whenever we were together. When I got the call, he was leaving the house telling me he had to do something.

Finally she couldn’t take it anymore and asked her boyfriend what was going on.
Her boyfriend revealed that he had been talking to his ex-girlfriend. (Oh my god!)
When she asked what business he had with his ex-girlfriend, he refused to tell her. He says he wants to keep her away from that for her sake. He then asked his girlfriend to believe in him and she agreed to do so.
He said he did not want this problem to continue. He promised me, so I decided to believe him.

He stopped talking to his ex-girlfriend for a while, but the story didn’t end there. One day, after setting up a date, the woman received a strange text message from him.
After she received that message, her boyfriend disappeared and she appeared as if she were a ghost.
After that he didn’t respond to my texts or calls. At first I was really angry, but then I remembered that he was suffering from depressing thoughts. I couldn’t help but wonder if he had done something extreme to solve his problem.

During this time, she began to worry about what he had done. She wanted to get in touch with his friends, but she realized that she didn’t know anyone. She just wanted answers, but she didn’t know how to get them.
About a month later, my boyfriend’s mother came to visit me at work.
“Is he okay?” the woman asked her. “Where is he? Do you know where he went? In a strange turn of events, her (now ex) boyfriend’s mother asked the woman to write a letter without answering any questions.
He misses you so much that I was wondering if you could please write him a letter. Is it okay if I include this in my writing? Just write what I tell you to write.
— Ex-boyfriend’s mother
My boyfriend’s mother didn’t want him to write her a love letter. She was like oh my god. It was like her affidavit!
In the three months I’ve been with my boyfriend, I’ve never seen him be violent. He didn’t touch me.
— Ex-boyfriend’s mother
Shocked by the strange request, the woman asked why she had been asked to write such a thing. Oh, no reason! That’s because her ex-boyfriend is currently in prison for domestic violence. (hang on. what?)
As it turns out, her ex-boyfriend didn’t ghost her at all. Rather, he was serving time for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend.
I learned that he was filing a lawsuit over a domestic violence incident with his ex-girlfriend. Eventually he was arrested and thrown into jail.
