Disney appears to have ended its hiatus from social network X, formerly known as Twitter.
Multiple Walt Disney Company accounts have not posted on X for more than 10 days as the fallout from widely condemned anti-Semitic comments by the platform’s owner Elon Musk continues.
In response to Musk’s comments, Disney, Apple, IBM, Paramount, Warner Bros., and Discovery announced they would suspend advertising on X. Disney appears to have stepped up its response by holding back on adding new content to its platform.
Until this evening, the official @DisneyParks account last posted on X on November 17th. This account typically made multiple posts to X each day.
The @DisneyParks X account was revived this evening with posts about the opening of Dreamers Point and World Celebrations Gardens.
