British teenager Arion Curtaj, who was involved in a hacking operation, has been given an indefinite hospitalization order for stealing 90 clips from an unreleased Grand Theft Auto 6 game.

Considered a threat to the public due to his talents and intentions, he was ordered to remain hospitalized indefinitely and was confined until doctors deemed it safe.

The court heard that Kurtaj had committed violent acts while in custody, and there were dozens of reports of injuries and property damage. Doctors determined that Mr. Kurtaj was unfit to stand trial because of his acute autism, so the jury was asked whether Mr. Kurtaj committed the alleged acts, not whether he committed them with criminal intent. the news portal further reported.
Street guardianAccording to the report, even after his laptop was confiscated, Kurtaj continued to carry out the cyber attack using Amazon Firestick, hotel TV and mobile phone. He hacked into the company’s internal messaging system, Slack, and declared, “If I don’t hear from Rockstar on Telegram within 24 hours, I’ll start releasing the source code.”
Another member of Lapsus$, a 17-year-old protected by legal anonymity, was also convicted in the same trial. The charges against them include two counts of fraud, two counts of crimes under the Computer Misuse Act and one count of extortion. He was sentenced to a youth rehabilitation order at Guildford Crown Court in Surrey on Thursday.
