Hello and welcome again justicea podcast about the business of startups, where we break down the numbers and nuances behind the headlines.
To wrap up the year, I wanted to sit down with a venture capitalist and talk about the year ahead. In today’s episode join us Deepika Rana is from the northern region To chat across a range of key topics for the new year:
- Where is venture capital heading in the new year?
- Expectations of startups at different stages of maturity;
- Why was 2023 the year of adaptation, and 2024 could be the new year for startups?
- And the fate of artificial intelligence in the European Union, where regulation is in full swing. (Note: When we recorded this, the first draft of EU AI regulation had not yet occurred.)
I think everyone in startups and VC is hoping that 2024 will bring a warmer macroeconomic environment and a lot of exits. we will see. But what was clear from our conversation with Rana is that the new year will never be boring.
We have two more episodes coming your way before we officially wrap up 2023, so stay tuned to Equity!
