The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has filed a complaint alleging that SpaceX illegally fired eight employees who wrote and distributed an open letter regarding workplace concerns.
The open letter was distributed in June 2022, outlining how SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk’s public behavior has damaged the company’s reputation. on time, Interested in trade SpaceX paid a $250,000 settlement to a flight attendant who was sexually harassed by Elon Musk, the company claims.

Elon’s behavior in the public sphere has been a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment, especially in recent weeks. As our CEO and most prominent spokesperson, Elon is viewed as the face of SpaceX, and every tweet Elon sends is an actual public statement by the company. It is critical that we make it clear to our teams and our potential talent pool that its messaging does not reflect our work, our mission, or our values.
The NLRB also alleges that SpaceX interrogated, monitored, and threatened workers. As a result of his complaint, the NLRB’s Los Angeles Regional Director will seek a settlement with SpaceX. If SpaceX does not reach a settlement, the company will face a hearing before an administrative law judge in March.
