History of Emirates’ vegan cuisine
Emirates has been offering vegan meals since the 1990s, initially focusing on certain routes with dietary requirements based on cultural or religious practices. In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in interest in vegan cuisine on routes to the US, Australia, Europe and Asia.
