Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Boulder said strong winds also caused near-whiteout conditions, and continued snowstorms could pose road hazards.
12:45pm: US 6 is closed at Loveland Pass between I-70 and Montezuma Road.
US 50 at Monarch Pass is closed between County Road 888 and County Road 228.
Colorado 125 is closed between US 40 and Walden near Granby.
Colorado 14 was closed from County Road 36 east of Gould to Walden, and then again from just west of Walden to US 40.
