A new era is upon us at Barstool Sports.
Erika Ayers Badan has resigned as CEO, The Post has learned.
Mr. Ayers Badan (formerly Nardini), 48, joined Barstool in 2016 shortly after Barstool was acquired by Chernin Group for $15 million, and has led the company through significant headcount, revenue and relevance growth. He led the company, which was completely acquired by Penn Entertainment. It was valued at more than $500 million, but was sold back to founder Dave Portnoy for $1 after its irreverent brand proved to be a hindrance to state gambling regulators.
