Step-by-step chocolate cake recipe | How to make Vikas Khanna style chocolate cake at home:
“I swear, this will be your next favorite chocolate cake,” says Chef Vikas.
step 1. Preheat the oven to 180℃.
Step 2. Grease and line a cake pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Step 3. Melt the butter and add it to the bowl with the sugar. Add chocolate and mix well.
Step 4. Add vanilla extract and eggs and beat until light and fluffy.
Step 5. Sift the flour, add a pinch of salt and mix until everything is well mixed. Do not over mix.
Step 6. Pour the batter into the cake pan and tap the counter to smooth the surface.
Step 7. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes.
Step 8. Do the toothpick test. When you insert it into the center of the cake and a moist batter comes out, it’s done.
