I knew I had it, so I had to find the most effective (and most enjoyable) way to recharge so I could be the best version of myself.”

Confidence, especially in your 20s, is something you had to think about to fool yourself. In doing so, I had to train myself how to value my vision and trust my intuition. I believe that the more hours you practice and the more committed you are to your craft, the more you become a true expert. My confidence came from learning to believe in myself step by step.
Using fear strategies or exploiting anxiety to sell beauty products. Everyone should be beautiful and admire their beauty.
It definitely made me go into the beauty industry. I am very proud to work in an industry that is predominantly female and queer. One of the reasons I’m drawn to beauty and fashion is because of the community. It’s been really inspiring for me to be around so many brilliant people who bring so much light, color and love into the world while dealing with all the issues we have to deal with as ‘others’. ration. I would love to see more ownership and decision-making by women, people of color, and queer people. That’s why we’re excited to support Maesa as part of the #MaesaMagicIncubator program. It’s time to champion and celebrate the true creators and consumers of the beauty industry.
Anyone trying home hair color is instantly anxiety-inducing for me. I love revealing the before and after, so I’m always on the lookout for whatever the latest migration trends are.
When it comes to what I use in my kits and clients, I have a laundry list that avoids things like parabens, phthalates, SLS, and mineral oil. My customers are all beauty savvy and discerning people, so I try to use clean products as much as possible.
When it comes to hair care, I love products with restorative ingredients like protein complexes. For clients who dye their hair or do heat styling on a regular basis, this is a must.
My friend Ash Holm introduced me to Dripology LA. So I go to get an IV for health and hydration. I am also doing her Morpheus8 on her Dripology and I am obsessed with this one.
