Today, Apple released iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3 to supported devices. As usual with Apple’s mobile OS updates, these should already be available to everyone who wants them. No staged pranks like in Google country here.
New iOS updates include new stolen device protection features. This feature brings an extra layer of security in case someone steals your device and also has your passcode.
With Stolen Device Protection, Face ID or Touch ID is required to access your saved passwords, but changes to sensitive settings, such as your Apple ID password or device passcode, are protected by a security delay ( (unless your iPhone is in a familiar location) – Face ID is required or if you use Touch ID, you must wait an hour, then another successful biometric verification is required.
this is definitely one of them Why hasn’t this happened yet? It’s a feature that just makes perfect sense. We hope Google and Android device manufacturers will soon take inspiration and offer something similar on the other side of the fence.
Additionally, the update adds new wallpapers, and Apple Music lets you collaborate on playlists with friends, including adding emoji reactions to any track. AirPlay now supports hotels to stream content directly to TVs in select hotel rooms. Crash detection has also been optimized.
