AJ Styles previews the featured title match at WWE Royal Rumble.
At the WWE Royal Rumble, AJ Styles, LA Knight, and Randy Orton will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
In an interview with Josh MartinezStyles was asked about the differences and similarities between himself and Randy Orton, LA Knight, and Roman Reigns.
“Well, I think we all share the fact that we all want the WWE Championship,” AJ Styles said. “Randy wants it as his legacy, I want it ’cause it’s only been a few minutes since I’ve had it, L.A. Nights never had it. , [and] Roman Reigns is just trying to keep it going a little longer and there are similarities there. But when it comes to us… we’re all completely different wrestlers, there’s no doubt about that.
“Very different in a lot of ways and got the RKO, which is the deadliest three letters in wrestling. He really made an impact right away. And then, of course, we got Roman Reigns. He’s…oh my god, how long has he held the championship? Three years?”
AJ Styles: There’s a recipe for an incredible match
AJ Styles went on to highlight the differences between the competitors. He said they offer everything fans want and have a recipe for an incredible match.
“Listen, we’re all different in different ways,” AJ Styles said. “We’re all different, just from our size comparisons and our abilities in the ring. I think that’s the secret to a great wrestling match, you know? So many different things. It’s happening, it’s coming together and we’re giving our fans everything they want in entertainment, wrestling and more.
“It’s a game that could go anywhere, anything can happen, anything goes. Again, this is a recipe for an unbelievable game and I think we’ll pull it off.”
