Sure, everyone’s excited about Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, but more What’s more exciting than Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Ertree DLC? New hairstyles, that’s it! FromSoftware will be adding a ton of new hairstyles in a free update arriving next Thursday, June 20th.
This also sounds like a pretty big deal, but it’s a combination of the Shadow of the Erdtree day one patch and various improvements to the base game. Social Media FeedsThis includes bug fixes, balancing, and a host of new features.
For example, with the update installed, you’ll now be able to see all of your recently acquired items at a glance (previously, new items would just disappear into the pile, making it a bit of a pain to figure out exactly what you’d picked up). Newly acquired items will now be marked with an exclamation mark and listed in your inventory.[最近使用したアイテム]The tab will be added.
There have also been some changes to summon pools. After the update, your active summon pool will carry over to NG+, and you’ll be able to enable or disable individual summon pools in the newly added Map Features menu. FromSoftware says that only the active summon pool will be selected when using the little golden statue.
And finally, there are five new hairstyles for now. These can be applied during character creation, when using the Cloudy Mirror Stand, or with Renara’s Regenerate feature. And apparently that’s not all; FromSoftware says that the June 20th update will also include “other features.” Of course, this is just one day before Shadow of the Erdtree’s release date on June 21st, and anticipation for that release is still very high. And if the very positive early reception is any indication, there’s a good reason for that.
