WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The City of Wichita has provided a new update regarding a cybersecurity incident that occurred in early May.
“The City of Wichita reports that recovery efforts following a recent cybersecurity incident are progressing well,” the city said in a statement. “With some exceptions, most public-facing systems have now been returned to service.”
Customers should receive updated bills later this week as water meters, billing and payment processing systems come back online.
Customers will then be able to access their online utility accounts.

Due to the impact of the cybersecurity incident, some of your June invoices will be for more than 60 days of service.

Municipal courts will be making public search warrants available online on Monday, and the city is urging residents to call 268-4345 to find court dates, fees and other information, though most of the court system is online.
