Developer Larian Studios has revealed a short-term update roadmap for Baldur’s Gate 3, a monstrous RPG for PC. This is important for PlayStation fans, as the plan is to have him parity across the two platforms at launch and beyond.
Larian boss Swenn Vincke provided an update X And in keeping with the game’s Early Access philosophy, we are open to personal suggestions. He also said that “several requests” will be made into patch 2, raising hopes for the long-awaited ability to change a character’s appearance, but we’ll just have to wait.
That was yesterday and quite a few things have happened since then. Larian said he released Hotfix 4, but had to rollback immediately due to a “rare compiler issue”, leaving players who updated their saves unable to continue in awkward situations.
The studio fell to the sword, sorry for the inconvenience, commended the Canadian and Malaysian teams for quickly identifying and then resolving the issue and redeploying Hotflix 4. This will result in an overhaul of how the upcoming patch will be handled, resulting in a better product when it launches on his PS5 on September 6th.
