Royal Ascot is synonymous with elegance, grace and timeless fashion, and typically attracts a multitude of impeccably dressed guests who embody race day glamour.
Ascot fashion is constantly evolving, with more women choosing to wear suits and being encouraged to experiment with second-hand clothing, with floral patterns and intricate lacework being popular choices every year.
This year, Royal Ascot launched its first-ever “fashion bible,” curated by renowned British fashion designer Daniel Fletcher. “The lookbook is the first of its kind in the history of the world-famous event and will take the event into a whole new realm of style identity,” explains Orion Scott of Hello! Fashion. “The idea behind the book is to provide attendees with an inspiring fashion guideline appropriate for all of Ascot’s venues.”
Fletcher, the first creative director in the event’s 300-year history, aims to welcome bold new styles, creative sourcing and a more conscious approach to dressing at the prestigious annual event.
