Starting October 4th, you can fly nonstop to Fort Myers on Florida’s Gulf Coast to catch the winter-like weather that is likely to hit Vermont. Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport upon Breeze Airways.
Breeze Air is the newest airline to operate from Leahy BTV, having begun nonstop service to Tampa and Orlando, Fla., in January. Breeze added service to Jacksonville, Fla., via Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, later in January, making Fort Myers the fourth Florida destination it operates from Leahy BTV.
“This rapid expansion of service proves that there is a market for Floridians to visit Vermont, as well as demand throughout Florida,” Lehi BTV Aviation Director Nick Longo said in a statement. “We are excited to continue growing with Breeze Air and look forward to potential additional announcements in the future.”
Breeze Air’s inaugural flight to Fort Myers on October 4 will depart Lehi BTV at 11:25 a.m. and arrive at SW Florida International Airport at 3:05 p.m. The inaugural flight from Fort Myers to Burlington will depart SW Florida International Airport at 7:15 a.m. that same day and arrive in Burlington at 10:45 a.m.
Flights from Lehi BTV to Fort Myers operate every Monday and Friday. Airbus A220-300.
