If you’re looking for an easy, healthy dinner that your kids will love, one woman has the answer.
TikToker shared a lazy girl pasta recipe that she claims is the easiest dinner she’s ever made.
in her videoTikTok user Steph Pace (@stephpase) demonstrated how to make pesto pasta.
“I’ll teach you how to make the most delicious, healthiest, and easiest pasta dinner of your life. Your kids will definitely be bubbly,” she said.
Steph pointed out that her go-to dinner can be made with just four ingredients, though she adds a little more to the dish.
“You want to start with pasta, but mine is gluten-free spaghetti. I love shrimp or chicken. And of course a jar of pesto,” she told viewers.
To finish off the dish, Steph recommends adding cherry tomatoes, spinach and pine nuts.
As a first step, she boiled the spaghetti and used the same pot to cook the shrimp while the spaghetti drained.
She explained: “Once the protein is cooked enough, add cherry tomatoes to give it enough time to cook.
“Then I put in the pasta and the jar of pesto. It’s literally so easy. Once mixed, I add things like spinach and pine nuts.”
Steph also suggests changing the recipe if you get bored and adding ingredients like bacon and chorizo for added flavor.
“It’s really great. It feeds the whole family, so I have enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow,” she said.
