After Telegram pushed the channel feature to its users, its main rival WhatsApp has now rolled out the channel feature in 150 countries. WhatsApp Channel allows a user to share updates and information with many other users on his WhatsApp. Users can also use the directory to search for specific channels and respond to messages sent by channel owners.
