AMD RX 7600 XT arrives in late January
Finally, the new Radeon GPU.
Yesterday, we mentioned that there were rumors about a possible Radeon RX 7600 XT launch, and this information has now been corroborated by the following information: bench life. According to their sources, the card is scheduled to debut the week of January 22nd. According to the information, the specific date mentioned is January 24th, which matches the details provided by Benchlife.
Interestingly, it has been revealed that AMD will not be introducing a reference model (manufactured by AMD), commonly known as the MBA design. Instead, the RX 7600 XT will be available exclusively in a custom variant. This development will be welcomed by board partners who were tired of AMD prioritizing reference designs during previous launches. But this means the reviewer only tests custom designs, unlike his RX 7600 launch, which included a reference design primarily for testing purposes.
Among them, Radeon RX 7600 XT is indeed included in AMD’s product plans and is expected to be released in the week of January 22nd. At the same time, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super will also be available.

The RX 7600 XT version is expected to launch more than seven months after the non-XT version. It remains unclear why AMD made the decision to wait so long, especially considering the popularity of his $300 segment. However, the market in this price range is currently highly competitive and introducing new models can pose challenges. This is especially true with the presence of last-generation AMD RDNA2 and NVIDIA Ampere models.
According to information leaked in September, the RX 7600 XT could come in two variants with either 10GB or 12GB of memory. It remains unclear which specific model AMD will choose, or whether both versions are planned. An important thing to note is that AMD will not be able to increase the core count of his Navi 33 GPU beyond its current limit of 2048 cores (the configuration used in the RX 7600).
For the RX 7600 XT, AMD is likely to opt for Navi 32 with a reduced core count. AMD is preparing stock of partially disabled GPUs after the September launch of RX 7800XT/7700XT (both based on Navi 32), so this could explain the delay in the card’s release. there is.
We would like to add that Benchlife’s sources have confirmed that, contrary to what recent EEC listings suggest, there are currently no plans for a non-XT variant of the Radeon RX 7800/7700.
