CINCINNATI (WXIX) — An award-winning children’s and family entertainment center will close in January 2025.
EnterTrain Junction in Westchester will cease service at an undetermined date after the start of the new year, management announced.
According to the closure announcement, the Junction opened in 2008 as the world’s largest indoor model railway exhibition and the planet’s only rail-themed family entertainment center.
EnterTRAINment Junction owner Don Oewters said he had realized a lifelong dream of building the world’s largest indoor train exhibit for the public to enjoy, creating a rail-themed family attraction.
On the day he announced his dream was coming to an end, Oters explained why he decided to announce the closure of Entertainment Train Junction.
Christmas at the Junction will go ahead as planned in December, management said.
