- Vegetable oil: Keeps blueberry banana bread moist.
- Granulated sugar: Emphasis on sweetness.

- vanilla extract: A classic flavor booster. Use pure vanilla extract if you have it!
- flour:For structure.
- Bdrink soda: Blueberry Banana Bread is light and delicious.
- salt: Just add a pinch to bring out all the flavors.

Tips for making banana bread a success
- sugar: If you prefer a little more sweetness, use white sugar instead of brown sugar, or for a healthier option, try coconut sugar or monk fruit sweetener.
- Save the old banana! Once the bananas have spots and turn black, peel them and freeze them. When you’re ready to make banana bread, thaw and mash.
- Do not overcook: This recipe calls for splitting it into two loaves so that the bread can cook through without overcooking the outside to get the inside. Use a toothpick to make sure there are only a few crumbs attached so there is no wet dough when inserted into the center of the loaf.
- Use of butter: You can use oil in place of butter if you like, but oil will make the bread more even and moist.
- Fresh or frozen? Fresh blueberries are just as effective as frozen blueberries. No need to unzip. Be sure to mix it with 1 tablespoon of flour before filling it into the dough. This will prevent the blueberries from sinking to the bottom.
