Economic headwinds have scuppered many of the gains made by fintech companies during the tech finance boom in 2021. Case in point – global payment platforms Stripe and Checkout.com have cut their internal valuations. However, it would be unwise to count out opportunities for fintech growth, especially in the US
Understanding the current and future state of payments is essential, which is why we’re thrilled to have Céline Dovetail, President and COO of Checkout.com, join us on September 19 at the Fintech booth at TechCrunch Disrupt 2023, taking place September 19-21. In San Francisco.
Previously, Dufétel was Checkout’s CFO and COO, and took up the presidential mantle last April. She told TechCrunch that she’s optimistic about expanding into the U.S., and we’ll dive into areas where she sees growth opportunities during her session, “The Future of Payments.”
We’re eager to hear more about her new role and what changes, if any, she might enact. We’ll also update her on the overall state of the payments industry and where she thinks it’s headed.
The company recently launched Checkout.com Issuing, a product that allows its customers to create payment cards for their customers. What else awaits us at Checkout.com?
