material:
2 cups sliced carrots, 1 cup orange juice, 2 teaspoons ginger (adrak), 1/2 teaspoon black salt (kaala namak), salt to taste, 3/4 teaspoon chili powder, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon roasted cumin (jeera)
Method:
First, add the sliced carrots to the pan, then add the freshly squeezed orange juice. Turn on the fire and add ginger, black salt, salt and chili powder to the pan.
Once you have added all the ingredients, bring the mixture to a boil. Cover the pot and simmer for 20 minutes. Wait until the liquid evaporates and the carrot slices become soft. Next, add the butter to the pan along with the roasted cumin. Mix the buttered carrots well and transfer to a blender to make a puree.
Just like that, the carrot spread is ready. This spread has a shelf life of 10 days. enjoy!
