Cloudfare partners with CloudHop to improve cybersecurity in Africa
Cloudflare, an American IT service management company, has partnered with Kenyan company CloudHop to distribute technology solutions. We plan to use cutting-edge technology to improve cybersecurity to protect digital assets and user data across Africa.
Cloudflare provides web performance and security solutions for millions of websites around the world, while CloudHop provides cloud computing and data management solutions in Africa.
The partnership will allow CloudHop to offer Cloudflare’s services to its clients. One of these services is his Cloudflare CDN. It is a content delivery network that reduces the time it takes for websites to load by caching content closer to users at the edge of the internet.
Additionally, Cloudflare SSL, a secure sockets layer that encrypts user and website data to ensure privacy and security, and a web application firewall that prevents malicious requests and attacks such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and DDoS. We also offer Cloudflare Firewall.
Why is it important? Given the rapid digitization of businesses and services on the continent, effective cybersecurity measures have never been more urgently needed.
Cyberattacks impact a company’s performance and reputation by affecting digital assets and user data. Therefore, it is important to have reliable and efficient solutions in place to protect your website from hackers, malware, and other threats.
