topic: Data Privacy and Compliance: A Data Governance Framework for Effective Data Management
Abstract: In today’s digital environment, where vast amounts of sensitive information are generated and processed around the world, data privacy regulations and compliance are non-negotiable. Regulations directly impact security policy, so security leaders must stay aware of potential threats to their information security architecture. Today’s organizations must establish a robust data governance framework for effective data management and privacy protection. A comprehensive data governance framework starts with defining a clear data collection, storage, and sharing approach. This includes defining the purpose of data collection, specifying the types of data collected, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry-specific standards. This webinar will explain the importance of data protection and how businesses can achieve it. We’ll also look at how you can protect your data from unauthorized access and breaches by implementing access controls, regular audits and assessments, regular updates, employee awareness training programs, and more. These steps ensure the safety of your company’s sensitive data and promote a culture of cybersecurity within your organization.
