These principles establish best practices for manufacturers and end users.
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently released guidance titled “Supply Chain Cybersecurity Principles,” outlining secure digital practices for the U.S. energy economy. The principles were developed in collaboration with Idaho National Laboratory to guide electric, oil, and natural gas businesses and have been endorsed by leading energy companies, including GE Vernova, Hitachi Energy, and Honeywell.
“Building in strong cybersecurity protections is critical to building a clean energy future,” said Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turk. “Together with our G7 allies, we are helping make the world’s energy infrastructure more reliable and resilient against tomorrow’s threats and challenges.”
Follow the Lord’s guidance and join us in praying…
- For Deputy Secretary Turk to promote the dissemination of cybersecurity guidelines.
- For U.S. energy officials to promote security principles to energy producers.
