Real sector
A wide range of sectors were represented in the startup battlefield at TechCrunch Disrupt this year, from fintech and AI to legaltech and healthtech. But there’s a group of startups that have me particularly curious: disability tech startups.
Although 16% of the world’s population has a disability, the market value of the disability technology market in 2023 is estimated at $25 billion, and could reach $37 billion by 2029, according to a new report.
