It seemed like a cheap luxury reserved for special occasions and out of reach for me. But as the years passed, I discovered Bree’s extraordinary versatility and friendliness, turning it from a distant dream into a cherished reality.
Brie cheese, with its softness and sweetness, became the canvas on which I painted my culinary aspirations. And oh, the masterpieces I have created!Today I will share something simple recipe Baked Brie Recipe — Over time, this recipe has become a cherished staple in my cooking repertoire. It proves how this mysterious cheese can be transformed into something special with just a few simple ingredients and a little creativity.

- 1 wheel of brie cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 piece of defrosted pie dough
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- Crackers, baguette slices, or apple slices for serving
How to make baked brie cheese recipe

- Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (or 190°C).
- Prepare the brie. Remove excess packaging from bully wheel. You can leave the skin on, but it’s edible and adds flavor and texture. Place a brie wheel in the center of a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Prepare toppings. Heat the cranberry sauce in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the chopped rosemary and chopped nuts, if using. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce is warmed and the rosemary is fragrant.
- Wrap in puff pastry: Roll out the puff pastry to a slightly larger size on a lightly floured surface. Place brie wheel in center of pastry. Spoon the warm cranberry and rosemary mixture over the brie.
- Wrap the brie. Gently fold the pastry over the brie to cover it completely. Trim excess pastry if necessary. If you like, you can use a decorative cookie cutter to cut out shapes from pastry scraps to decorate the top.
- Seal the edges. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg and press the brie to the inside to seal. Make sure there are no gaps or gaps.
- Brush with egg wash. Brush the entire surface of the pie crust with the beaten egg. This will give the baked brie a beautiful golden color.
