It’s a big day in the world of Samsung. At its Samsung Unpacked 2024 event, the company is launching new phones, headphones, and even a wearable ring.
As expected, Samsung is emphasizing Google-powered AI features in its two new phone models: the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Not only are these phones thinner and lighter than previous models, they’re also built with the same processor found in the Galaxy S24, making it possible to integrate features like Gemini-powered AI assistant and Circle to Search.
Samsung also launched its Galaxy Ring wearable smart ring, which is the company’s first smart ring. The Galaxy Ring is supposed to help you track your sleep data, and it looks very similar to the Oura Ring.
There are also new earbuds: the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro. According to Samsung, “The Buds 3 Pro are Canal Type for those looking for immersive sound, while the Buds 3 are Open Type for those who prefer to use the device in a variety of situations for extended periods.”
There’s a lot to learn about these new devices, so be sure to check out our in-depth coverage of Samsung’s device announcements.
