Gucci has a new address in The Grove.
After hosting pop-up stores over the past few years, the luxury fashion house has officially opened its new store in the prime location formerly occupied by J. Crew at The Grove, Los Angeles’ iconic shopping destination. Gucci’s new boutique, measuring over 8,000 square feet, opened on June 28. The store’s white façade features the Gucci logo painted on dark marble. The store’s marble and geometric flooring was inspired by designs found in historic buildings, according to a release.
Owned and operated by real estate mogul and former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Rick Caruso, Gucci’s new store at The Grove will carry ready-to-wear clothing, men’s and women’s handbags, accessories, shoes, beauty products and items from the brand’s travel collection, Gucci Valigeria.

The store is designed to make shoppers feel at home with built-in displays reminiscent of walk-in closets, and is decorated with Gucci Décor velvet armchairs, sofas and monochrome fuzzy wool rugs throughout.
The new store at The Grove further strengthens Gucci’s strong presence in Los Angeles and expands the brand’s retail reach beyond its anchor store at 90201 Rodeo Drive. Other branches include a store in the Beverly Center, a Gucci salon on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood and a location at The Americana at Brand, another Caruso property. The luxury fashion house recently opened a 17,500-square-foot, two-story boutique at Orange County staple South Coast Plaza.
