Baldur’s Gate 3 has many powerful weapons, some of which can only be found by completing quests in specific ways. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to get the Infernal Rapier in Baldur’s Gate 3.
The Infernal Rapier in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a very rare weapon drop available in Act 2. This is a one-handed subtle weapon that allows the user to add a spellcasting ability modifier to attack rolls. Although his damage is on the lower end of the spectrum at 1d8 +2, the Infernal Rapier’s real power lies in the special abilities attached to it.
In addition to the Spellcasting Modifier bonus, Infernal Rapier grants +1 to the user’s Spell Save DC. This means that any creature that needs to roll against you must make a higher than normal save to avoid being affected by the spell. The Infernal Rapier also grants the user the ability to cast Planar Ally: Cambion as a 6th level spell.

- Make sure Will is in the party.
- After fighting Keseric Soum, enter the Mind Flayer Colony.
- Find the tadpole center in the colony.
- Head to the pool in the second room of the tadpole center.
- Please free Mizorah.
The first is that Will must be in the party when entering the mind flayer colony. If you have not traveled with him beforehand, it is best to be sure to invite him along before entering the colony. Once inside, you will no longer be able to fast travel and will not be able to return to camp.
Upon entering the colony’s tadpole center, you will encounter several mind flayer incubators containing tieflings. Whatever you decide here will not affect the “Rescue Zariel’s Assets” quest, so you can choose to proceed or deal with it first.
quest Mizora This will lead you to the pool just beyond the first room with the Mindflayer pod. There’s one pod here that clearly has someone in it. When he got closer, he realized that the person trapped was Deep Sky himself.

The second thing you need to remember is that if you decide to kill Mizorah, you won’t get the Infernal Rapier. Not only that, but if Will were to die here, he would be dragged to hell. Therefore, although she may want to exterminate her, it is better to let her go.

Once she is released, you can negotiate with her to break the contract with Will. She also agrees, but as she points out, her contract will only end after her six months. This is because she has confirmed that there is a nifty loophole in her contract.
At the end of the quest, she will give you the Infernal Rapier before heading further down the colony to confront Keseric Soum. This only happens if Will is in the party. So he may have missed it all this time.
How to rescue Zariel’s assets in Baldur’s Gate 3
During Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3, you receive the Rescue Zariel’s Asset quest, which leads from Mizora to Infernal Rapier.
Mizora is a cambion who serves the great demon Zariel and Will’s patron of hell. If you have Will in your party, she will visit you at camp several times as part of his story. Mizora loves reminding Will of her contract on a regular basis, which she hates. She arrives again in the second act of Baldur’s Gate 3 and offers another quest.
The quest “Rescue Zariel’s Assets” requires Zariel to help someone important to her safely escape from Moonrise Tower. When you first receive a quest, it remains a mystery as to who it is.

The quest can only be completed if you arrive at the Mind Flayer Colony in Moonrise Tower after fighting Keseric Soum. A quest marker will lead you to something called the “Tadjuggling Center” within the colony. You can also find the tiefling you’re looking for there.
Once you have a weapon, you can equip it yourself (if it makes sense for your character) or give it to Wyll. This is one of the best weapons in the game, so you can go out and cause havoc right now.
