The second strategy involves isolating critical infrastructure from the Internet to ensure an additional layer of protection. By intentionally leaving certain systems disconnected from online access, organizations reduce the risks associated with potential cyber intrusions.

“The All India Institute of Medical Sciences was attacked. It was an eye-opener for most of us. This is one of the nationally reputed institutes serving the public. We cannot isolate ourselves too much.”
