JPalm Hairdressing shared a video on TikTok of stylist Jordan Palmer asking a client if he could touch her hair.

After they discussed their pronouns, the hairdresser was heard saying, “I’m glad we were able to swap pronouns.”
Palmer then speaks for about four minutes before the cut begins, asking about the client’s hair history, how long they ultimately want their hair to be, and how they want it cut to suit the client’s preferences.
The exchange received backlash from users online, with some calling the conversation “tiring.”
