NEOM announces new tourist destination layer for northwest Saudi Arabia
NEOM recently announced “Reyya” as a new tourist destination in northwestern Saudi Arabia. The Leia region, with its three different hotels by the world-famous architect, is located in an ancient valley covered by mountains 400 meters high. This project includes Chris Van DienMirrored Hotel by Sean Killa, and Vertical Rock Hotel by Mario Cucinella. With a focus on nature conservation and the aim of integrating eco-friendly construction techniques in harmony with the landscape, it is planned that 95% of Layer’s land will be kept intact. The third facility by Mario Cucinella appears on a rock located in the heart of the wadi oasis. This is a fascinating gateway to exploring beyond the valley. The staircase leading from the valley to the site entrance provides an exploratory path and offers unparalleled views of the valley.
The entire Leyja development will offer a variety of experiences including dining, wellness facilities, pools, guided wadi walks, hiking trails, mountain biking and climbing.
