Keeper Security experts are now encouraging all users to implement a password manager to keep their logins secure.
Keeper Security’s Aranza Trevino says, “As more people stream movies and TV shows on apps like Netflix and Hulu, and music on apps like Spotify, all of their accounts on different streaming services. “We are seeing an increase in the number of passwords being created.”
“The passwords created for each of these accounts should follow password best practices to prevent your streaming app from being hacked.
“It can be difficult to have to manage so many online accounts, let alone remember the passwords for those accounts, then a password manager can help.”
One of the problems with streaming services is that most people usually use more than one service.
And it’s tempting to reuse easy-to-remember passwords.
However, this is extremely dangerous. Reusing the password means a criminal could hack into her one account and unlock the others.

How to stay safe
