Cloud cybersecurity startup Coro Cyber Security Co., Ltd. today announced Coro 3.0, a new way for midsized businesses to manage and utilize cybersecurity.
Claimed to be the world’s first modular cybersecurity platform, Coro 3.0 integrates multiple security capabilities into one integrated solution, from endpoint detection and response to security access services at the edge, to grow as your company grows. It offers seamlessly integrated modules, right down to email security that can be activated on-demand. needs.
The new platform is designed to address the problem that midsize companies with 200 to 2,000 employees often have limited budgets, information technology teams, and cybersecurity expertise. Coro argues that IT staff are prime targets for cyberattacks because they can quickly become overwhelmed by the complexity and operational burden of managing multiple tools in a security stack.
Coro 3.0 simplifies the implementation of a cybersecurity stack by using a single pane of glass, one endpoint agent, and one data engine to configure, operate, and manage all security modules. Coro says its security module automatically identifies and remediates threats, eliminating security gaps caused by multiple tools in the security stack.
It also said the modular nature of its cybersecurity platform allows enterprises to strengthen their security posture and reduce operational workloads at a total cost of ownership that is less than one-third that of comparable point solutions.
At launch, Coro 3.0 offers 14 different security modules. Among them are: Endpoint Protection, Extended Detection and Response, Email Protection, Secure Access Service Edge, Data Governance, Cloud Access Security Broker, Virtual Private Networking, Next Generation Firewall, Domain Name System Filtering, Security Operations Center (Managed Detection and Response) , Email Encryption Zero Trust Network Access.
“Every business deserves access to enterprise-grade security, but the midmarket needs solutions tailored to their limited resources,” CEO Guy Moskowitz said in a statement. . “Coro raises the bar by consolidating critical security features into a single platform that is completely modular, easy to manage, and dramatically more affordable than other solutions on the market today. It’s a great price.”
Coro is a venture capital-backed startup that last raised $75 million at a $575 million valuation in April and a $60 million round in April 2022. Investors include Energy Impact Partners LP, Balderton Capital LLP and Jerusalem Venture Partners Ltd.
