Niantic has removed a reference in its Help Center regarding a limit on the number of Master Balls you can carry in Pokémon GO after announcing research into obtaining a second Master Ball.
One of the most popular items in Pokemon has always been the Master Ball. Since anything is guaranteed to be caught, players tend to set it aside for rare prey.
This feature, which was added to Pokémon GO in July 2023, allowed some trainers to save rare balls in order to stock up on more than one at a time.

In the help center In addition to the section listing “item types and their effects,” there is also a section that mentions Poké Balls and how they work.
The end of the first paragraph previously read: “Master Ball is a very rare and special type of Poke Ball with a 100% catch rate. Please note that only one Master Ball can be in your bag at a time.”

This means that you must use your existing ball if you have not already done so before receiving the Master Ball provided by the latest Timed Survey. Fortunately, Niantic has since removed any mention of this restriction.
The latest study, Timed Investigation: Master Ball, offers a variety of fairly difficult tasks that you must complete in order to receive the Master Ball a second time.
Many have expressed distaste for the quality of the tasks, as rural players have trouble completing the required number of raids.
