As the name suggests, this property is located in Tamuda Bay on Morocco’s Mediterranean coast. The property design is explained as follows.
Built as a private riad with an inviting courtyard and lush gardens, the resort exudes Moroccan charm and pays homage to the region’s Andalusian cultural heritage. The design reflects the typical local white architecture and coastal landscape, with a palette of whites, neutrals and blues, with bronze accents. Local craftsmanship is celebrated for its intricate metalwork, mosaic zellige tiles, and Tadelakt-style textures. A carefully selected art collection by local artists transports guests to nearby Tetouan, rated by UNESCO as Morocco’s best-preserved medina with its seven famous gates, the Rif Mountains and the enigmatic Cave of Hercules. It will lead you to enchanting landmarks in the coastal landscape.
Tamuda Bay is located in the northeast of the country, not far from the Strait of Gibraltar. Tangier Airport is the closest major airport to the resort, approximately 70 km away and approximately 90 minutes by car.
Below are some photos of the property and I have to say it is absolutely gorgeous.

For comparison, this property typically costs 74,500 Bonvoy points per night, so it’s very expensive to redeem points. Based on my valuation of 0.7 cents per Bonvoy point, this is much worse value than paying in cash.

conclusion
The St. Regis’ newest hotel is a luxury 100-room beachfront resort located in Tamuda Bay, Morocco. This looks like a very valuable property, at least based on what we know so far (I’m always a little skeptical when the only photos of a property are renderings).
