Oprah Winfrey’s weight loss was highlighted in a social media video showing off her “Color Purple” drink for the holidays.
Famous talk show host Oprah Winfrey, 69, showed off her slim physique in a new Instagram video as her personal chef prepares mocktails in honor of the movie The Color Purple.
The famous billionaire was relaxing in his $50 million home in Montecito, California, where he has lived since 2001. She wore a luxurious white set with a spacious white kitchen.and her and the bartender I wasn’t stingy Using mocktail recipes daily mail report.
“We came up with our own version of the Color Purple drink for the holiday season,” Winfrey said before sharing the recipe with viewers. The mocktail recipe included apple juice, ginger, beet juice, lime juice, blue curacao, simple syrup, sparkling water, and a blackberry garnish. She added a tip for vodka, gin, or tequila for those looking to add a little alcohol.
The recent video isn’t the first to reveal a slimmer Winfrey. Winfrey graced the red carpet at the premiere of “The Color Purple” in Beverly Hills, California, where her slim waist caught everyone’s attention. On her red carpet, she told Entertainment Tonight: I’m going to keep it up,” she said of her weight loss and fitness journey. Winfrey recently lost 40 pounds and had to make some changes.
Of course, some speculated that Winfrey may have used weight loss drugs. However, she quickly denied the rumors during a panel discussion on Oprah Daily’s The Life You Want Series in New York City. A panel discussion held in September included Sima Sistani, CEO of Weight Watchers, a psychologist, and two obesity experts.
Winfrey opened up about how her “weight struggles” were “exploited” in the public eye and the “shame” she endured for years because of her changing appearance.
“One thing that I’m very embarrassed about is that even when I first started hearing about weight loss drugs, I was having knee surgery at the same time, so I was like, ‘I have to do this with my life.’ ‘Because if I take the medication, it’s an easy way out,’ she said.
“In my mind, I felt the same way that many people feel with bariatric surgery: you have to keep trying hard, you have to keep climbing mountains, you have to keep suffering. There’s a part of me that is, because if I don’t, I’m somehow fooling myself.”
She was honest about how she felt that she was tired of living in a world where people were shamed and treated differently because of their weight.
Winfrey, a former cast member of the original 1991 film directed by Steven Spielberg and nominated for an Oscar in 1986, has remained open about her weight.
The remake of “The Color Purple” will be released in theaters on December 25, 2023. Directed by Blitz Bazar, it starred Daniel Brooks, Halle Bailey, Taraji P. Henderson, and Fantasia Barrino.
