Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Talon Cyber Security, an Israeli startup that sells secure browser technology to enterprise customers.
Palo Alto first announced plans to acquire Talon in November 2023 in a $625 million deal.
Talon has raised approximately $125 million in multiple funding rounds and is gaining attention for its software that helps businesses address the risks posed by unmanaged devices.
Anand Oswal, Palo Alto’s vice president, said in announcing the acquisition that the plan is to incorporate Talon’s enterprise browser technology into the company’s Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) suite to provide complete access to all managed and unmanaged devices.
