When the basil is ready, add it to a food processor along with 1 cup of sundried tomatoes, garlic, basil, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. “Some recipes use sundried tomatoes in oil and leave out the oil, but in this case you’re using infused oil, so you only need to add a little extra oil.” Hahn explains.
Turn on the food processor and mix until everything is crumbly. It should be very thick, but using warm pasta water will help the pesto spread over the pasta.
