Pokémon GO players were shocked by one fan’s concept for a berry garden feature, with some calling the idea “perfect” for the mobile game.
A mobile spin-off title, Pokémon Go incorporates many of the features found in the mainline series of games, but there are also many features that haven’t made their way to mobile phones yet.
One of these features is the concept of using shrubs to plant, nurture, and grow berries. Berries are a valuable resource in Pokémon GO, but players cannot grow them themselves.

Now, a Pokemon GO player has created a detailed concept for the Berry Garden mechanic, and fans are shocked by the hypothetical mechanic.

This post included 12 images that demonstrate the basics of the concept and explain how it works in a mobile game.

According to the OP, Berry Gardens will basically function like gyms, will be scattered across the map, and will be available to all players.

Players can provide a specific type of berry to a specific bush to grow a more powerful version of that berry, or host a water-type Pokémon in the garden to help the bush grow faster. You can even do it.
Fans in the comments section liked the idea and expressed interest in seeing more POIs on the in-game map. “I really want something new on the map. This is perfect.”
Some fans pointed out that a similar concept was actually in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, which was also developed by Niantic. “They had this mechanic in Wizards Unite: sowing, watering, and other players buffing the harvest,” said one fan. “It worked there…so maybe they actually know how to do this.”
