Nissan announced this week that the GT-R will be available in two final special edition models: the T-Spec Takumi and Skyline Editions. The T-Spec Takumi Edition pays tribute to Nissan’s master craftsmen who hand-assemble each GT-R’s VR38DETT engine. The model will be available only in a gorgeous combination of Midnight Purple exterior paint color and Mori Green interior trim. The Takumi Edition also comes with carbon-ceramic brakes, a special gold version of Rays 20-inch wheels, wider front fenders, and a Nismo-tuned chassis control module. All of these options are premium, bringing the Takumi Edition’s price to $151,090.
The Skyline Edition brings back the R34 generation’s iconic Bayside Blue paint, which is truly stunning, and the interior is a beautiful Light Sora Blue. The Skyline Edition is priced at $131,090. Both models will arrive at Nissan dealerships this summer, with fewer than 200 of each expected to be built.
